Measurable Residual Disease (MRD) is an important factor for risk stratification and treatment planning for AML patients. MRD could be evaluated according to different parameters including AML related gene expression. According to current LeukemiaNet guidelines, when no other parameter is available, Wilms’ Tumor 1 Gene (WT1) expression may be used as MRD marker (A Hochhaus, 2020, Leukemia, 34:966)

Advantages of WT1 RQ Kit

Ready to Use

The WT1 and ABL Mixes contain all necessary reagents for Real-Time PCR and are ready to use; no further reagent or mixing is required. Reactions are prepared simply by addition of the mix directly to the tubes followed by the sample cDNA. Results can be viewed in Green/FAM channel for WT1 and Yellow/VIC channel for ABL

Control Gene

Kit also provides PCR mix and standards for assessment of ABL expression as the control gene. This would evaluate quality of the patient sample, RNA extraction and cDNA synthesis, preventing related false negative results

Standards & mixes of WT1 RQ Kit are manufactured in batches, and each series is distributed only after passing Quality Control tests for Specificity, Sensitivity, Accuracy and Precision
